Development Situation
In 2013, although domestic economy was under increasing pressure from the economic downturn, the economy of Shaanxi was still operating in the rising channel. The GDP of the whole year totaled RMB 1.6045 trillion, an increase of 11% over the previous year, ranked No. 6 in China in terms of growth speed, which showed a developing trend of making progress and becoming favorable while maintaining stability. The added value of industries above designated size reached RMB 725.856 billion, up by 13.1%, and the growth speed ranked No. 5 in the country. Completed social fixed asset investment totaled RMB 1,593.42 billion, an increase of 24.1%, of which private investment accounted for 44.7%, 0.6% higher than that of the previous year. Fiscal revenue totaled RMB 300.31 billion, up by 11.4%, of which local fiscal revenue was RMB 174.72 billion, 16.8% higher, and fiscal expenditure reached RMB 366.6 billion, increased by 10.2%. Urban per capita disposable income reached 22,858 yuan, and net income of rural residents reached 6,503 yuan, up by 10.2% and 12.8% respectively. Per capita GDP was USD 6,885.8, higher than national average, and urbanization rate reached 51.31%, 1.29% higher than that of the previous year.
